Our Goals

The Vision

The Monthly Paw Prints strives to empower Stephenson High School students to become informed, thoughtful, and engaged members of society. Our newspaper serves as a platform where student voices are elevated, critical thinking is encouraged, and creativity is celebrated.

Our vision is to cultivate student journalists who are not only aware of the world around them, but who also understand the responsibility and impact of sharing accurate, meaningful information with their community. Through newsroom collaboration and hands‑on experience, students learn to analyze issues, communicate effectively, and advocate for positive change.

CORE Values

Stephenson High School believes in....
LEARNING: Every scholar can learn
and we are committed to their
academic and personal growth.
EQUITY: Fair treatment, access, and
opportunity for all scholars.
EXCELLENCE: High expectations in
teaching, learning, and leadership.
VISION: Focused on the long-term
goals for scholar success.

The Mission
